My Background
Like many of us my journey began questioning why I was rejected. Maturing and developing self-awareness and wondering what was beneath the pain. Seeking to understand why. A diaspora kid with an Egyptian mother and English father, from an early age my soul has been bright and rebellious wanting to expand and expand…
Deeply interested in the physiology of our beings I began by studying Biomedical Sciences, excited by vitality, adventure and nature. I studied psychotherapy for a year before diving deeper into yoga… where I witnessed the powerful impact of yoga for wellbeing and a solid sense of belonging. I have trained and practiced extensively across Italy, India, the US and Canada exploring various yoga styles and both ancient and modern practices to achieve balance through lifestyle, ayurveda, trauma-informed, hatha, bhakti, tantric, shamanic medicine wheel, ceremony, children’s yoga, pre and post-natal yoga and then what really started to light me up… yoga offered therapeutically, personally. Yoga is so personal after all. I offer my gratitude to my teachers and to the lands where these teachings came from. Yoga brings me to steadiness, to far corners of joy, to illuminate my intellect and to be resilient.
It is a great honour to share this practice and to host you. My wish is for us to bask in peace and good health, with deepest reverence to the land and each other. One love. Rae x

The practice of yoga is something you can do anywhere in Vancouver, but I don’t feel like I have ever truly practiced with gratitude and awareness until I came here.

Rae cares!!! She does this for the right reasons - really cares about people (you!!), about integrative healthcare that can make a difference, and holds a high standard of knowledge of / respect for the lineages of yoga. I trust her heart as a friend, her skill as a teacher, and her integrity as a practitioner.

Rae showed me specific yoga moves relating to my recovery needs and the medication I am on, that actually works! My diabetes, blood pressure, cholesterol have all halved within 3 months of making these changes!
